Our Shipping and Receiving Associates provide for the safe transportation and storage of all ingredients, packaging and finished goods throughout the warehouse complex. You will drive a forklift to load, unload, and store finished goods, components, raw materials, equipment, and other items in a safe manner.

Once trained and authorized you will provide samples of packaging materials as well as maintain a neat, well organized work environment according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) and by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

The Role:

• Operate Forklifts and other equipment following safety procedures.
• Receive raw materials and packaging components.
• Unload trucks and properly place (cold chain, controlled substances and labeling) material in the warehouse so that material is staged for inspection.
• Receive cold chain materials to support manufacturing and distribution operations. Ensure each product/material is stored in the correct cold chain environment.
• Receive/check finished goods quantities from the packaging lines for accuracy.
• Update the ERP system with account entries.
• Receive miscellaneous materials, both inventory and non-inventory, from suppliers and store them appropriately.
• Inspect all incoming and outbound freight and trailer conditions. Takes corrective action as required to ensure delivery of freight in acceptable condition by following Shipping and Receiving SOPs and documented Inspection procedures.
• Verify product release from QA, prepare shipments, and complete paperwork for outbound products. Ship products as required.
• Locate, pick, & deliver materials from sales orders for shipment in FEFO sequence.
• Accurately follow Pick Lists and conduct supporting transactions in ERP to update Inventory.
• Support the production lines with material and components according to the weekly schedule to include changes.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrian traffic, dock and racking conditions at all times when operating equipment.
• Enter ERP transactions for receipt and materials movement.
• Initial expectation of work hours are 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. However, work hours may vary as dictated by business requirements.
• Provide additional assistance and tasks as defined by management.
